DR JACINTA MONTGOMERY

Dr Jacinta Montgomery

Dr Jacinta Montgomery graduated from the University of Notre Dame Fremantle in 2015. Since graduating Jacinta has worked at Fiona Stanley, Rockingham and Fremantle Hospitals in a variety of healthcare fields. She has a Certificate in Sexual Health and is working towards finishing a Diploma of Child Health in 2019. Jacinta is particularly interested in women and children’s health.

4.Amazing At.. – getting sunburnt in winter

What brought you to medicine?

“Wanting to merge together science and treating the scientific/medical problem”

 

What do you love most about medicine?

“Actually seeing the difference you can make”

 

DR PIPPA BYRD

Dr Pippa Byrd

Dr Pippa Byrd graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2013. Pippa completed her internship and resident years at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, before spending some time as a surgical registrar at Royal Perth Hospital. Pippa has completed her FPAA Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health and she is currently undertaking the Sydney Child Health Program. Pippa has a keen interest in women’s and children’s health as well as all things procedural. Pippa loves to develop her skills and would someday like to work in rural Western Australia.

2.Favourite Music Act – Daft punk is the best concert i’ve been to!

3.Terrible At… – running late- it makes me very stressed 🙁

4.Amazing At.. – talking about my dog- i will show anyone photos!

5.Favourite Restaurant – the Ramen place that’s in the city, near the train station

6.Best Place For Coffee – the nespresso machine at reception 🙂 and my coffee machine at home

7.Favourite TV show – Gossip girl

 

What brought you to medicine?

“I had no idea what I wanted to do as a 17 year old!”

 

What do you love most about medicine?

“Talking to people, rewarding work!”

 

DR JIE XU

Dr Jie Xu

Dr Jie Xu graduated in 2012 and started GP training in 2018. After completing internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Jie has worked in a variety of medical specialties including General Medicine, Surgery and Paediatrics. He enjoys building a relationship with his patients and has a special interest in musculoskeletal and skin cancer medicine.

 

1. Special Skills – This is a hard one.

2.Favourite Music Act – Anything by sister act.

3.Terrible At… –  Singing

4.Amazing At.. – Eating

5.Favourite Restaurant – McDonald’s Family Restaurant

6.Best Place For Coffee – Lockridge Medical Centre

“The other option was singing…refer to above.”

 

What do you love most about medicine?

DR ALANA DAWSON

Dr Alana Dawson

Dr Alana Dawson graduated from University of Western Australia in 2010 and completed her internship at Royal Perth Hospital. Being a registrar in both geriatric and general medicine Alana has developed a keen interest in chronic disease management as well as women’s and children’s health.
