Free Health Assessment:

Lockridge Medical Centre offers one annual health check to assess your risk of a heart attacks or strokes.

This dedicated check-up was introduced to support the 1.4 million Australians who are unaware that they might be at risk of having a heart attack or stroke in the next 5 years.

Whether you have regular checks with your GP or none at all, this health check is designed to improve early detection and prevention of treatable conditions that contribute to early death, like heart disease. During the health check, a doctor and nurse will assess your physical wellbeing along with other various lifestyle factors. They will also consider family history along with biomedical factors such as cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels. The information provided is used by your GP to offer advice on maintaining and improving all aspects of your health as needed.
