The COVID-19 vaccination is coming soon and likely to begin late February for:
• Front Line Health Care Workers
• Quarantine and Border Workers
• Nursing Home Residents
The rest of the population will be offered vaccination in phases following the initial phase with the elderly, other health care workers and other vulnerable groups the next phase.
It is expected that community vaccination will take place at GP clinics and we are hoping to participate and provide this service for you.
Our understanding is that there will be two vaccines used initially in Australia:
- Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine
- Oxford/AstraZenica vacci
