Maureen completed her medical degree at UWA in 2015. She spent her internship and first two years as a resident at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, rotating through the emergency department and medical and surgical terms including paediatrics in Port Hedland and general medicine in Karratha and Derby. She then worked as a resident at St John of God Midland Hospital in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology and emergency medicine before commencing General Practice training in 2022 with an extended skills term in sexual health at Sexual Health Quarters, followed by her entry into community GP.

Maureen is interested in all aspects of General Practice, and is particularly passionate about mental health, women’s health and sexual health. She is competent in insertion and removal of the Implanon contraceptive.

Outside of work, Maureen loves swimming, spending time at the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
