Dr Kalau completed his medical degree at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle in 2011,and spent his first years working in emergency medicine and paediatrics before completing his Genral Practice Fellowship in 2017 in Melbourne. He works at Lockridge Medical Centre as a vasectomist for Vasectomy Australia and has performed over 3000 vasectomies in Perth, Melbourne, Canberra and Tasmania. Dr Kalau prides himself in his meticulous surgical technique and his caring and genuine interactions with his patients.
Dr Kalau also has an interest in global health equality having recently completed a Master of Global Health and Infectious Diseases Intelligence. He has worked in Geneva at the World Health Organisation on HIV prevention strategy, and in Papua New Guinea with the Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine.
