Dr Komal Thakkar completed her GP training in UK in 2008 and moved to Perth in 2012. She is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of GP’s.
Dr Thakkar holds Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy with Distinction (Skin Cancer College Australia) and Professional and Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine (HealthCert). She is currently training towards a Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine.
Dr Thakkar offers comprehensive skin-related consultations, including:

Billing policy for Skin Checks
- DVA Gold card holder will be bulk billed.
- All other patients are privately billed.
- The cost for a skin check may vary between $110 and $150 depending on the time required and lesions of concerns (Medicare rebate available)
If further treatment is required, the costs will be discussed at the appointment.
